Mr Percy Pineapple Plush DIY

Mr Percy Pineapple Plush DIY :)

One of my best friends loves pineapples and for her birthday i created a pineapple plush toy. It was rather simple to make although i didn't use a pattern, just made it up as i went so measurements are approximate. It was a fun little crafty activity and took not long to make, i have composed some simple steps so you can make your very own Mr Percy Pineapple!
Materials:

-1x Dark green felt           - Brown embroidery thread
-1x Yellow felt                  - Black/Dark Green cotton
-Toy stuffing                    - White/yellow cotton

 Steps:
  1.  Cut out felt
2x leaves stems
approx 2cm wide x 15cm high

1x circle approx 3cm diameter
3x pineapple body
approx 8cm wide x 13cm high

    2.Join (sew together) Pieces 1 & 2 sides B & C, pieces 2 & 3 sides D & E, pieces 3 & 1 sides F & A. Leave a small whole at the top to add the leaves/stems later on.

3. Sew around leaves, cross over each other, pinch in center and stitch in that spot. In the whole you left previosuly in the pineapple sew in the leaves.

4. Add stuffing

5.  sew a single line of running stich around base and gather and sew up base.

6. Sew circle on open patch beneath the pineapple.

7. Add detailing (brown embroidery thread) to represent the pineapples texture.

And you're done! Enjoy!
Please leave comments and feedback below, and maybe even pictures of your versions of Mr Percy Pineapple!
Thanks,
Jasamika :)
